St Brendan's Catholic Kindergarten Rural View Mackay

Overview

Established in 2016, St Brendan’s Catholic Kindergarten is a charity-based kindergarten with a capacity to cater for 22 children per day. Our Queensland Approved Kindergarten features:

• Before Kindy and After Kindy care with our Outside School Hours Care Service
• A qualified Early Childhood Teacher
• An art studio (called an ‘atelier’) where children can engage in artistic expression
• Learning experiences following principles from STEAM – Early years Science, Technology, Engineering, The Arts and Mathematics
• Early Learning Languages Australia (ELLA) program - our focus language is Japanese
• Participating with the St Brendan’s Catholic Primary School in liturgy and events
• Regular prep visits and joint activities to assist with transition from kindy to school
• Nature play in our mud pit and gardening in the veggie patch.
• Keeping families up-to-date through our online communication application – ‘Storypark’
