Emmanuel Kindergarten Mount Pleasant Mackay
Kindergarten
Established in 2013, Emmanuel Kindergarten is a charity-based kindergarten with a capacity to cater for 44 children per day. Our Queensland Approved Kindergarten features:
- A qualified Early Childhood Teacher
- Learning experiences following principles from STEAM – Early years Science, Technology, Engineering, The Arts and Mathematics
- Early Learning Languages Australia (ELLA) program - our focus language is Japanese
- Participating with the Emmanuel Catholic Primary School in liturgy and events
- Prep visits and joint lunches to assist with transition from kindy to school
- Yearly excursions including resource recovery centre, local concerts, Mackay Gymnastics and Mackay Library
- Nature play in our mud pit and gardening in the veggie patch.
