Religious Education is a learning area with a formal curriculum for the classroom learning and teaching of religion. Religious Education is responsive to the variations in the life and religious experiences of all students, and their degrees of connection with the Catholic Church. This ensures that all students have the opportunity to engage in learning that develops deep knowledge, understanding and skills.

Catholic Education - Diocese of Rockhampton has adopted the content of the Archdiocese of Brisbane Religious Education curriculum. The pedagogy at the heart of the Religious Education curriculum in the Diocese of Rockhampton is dialogue, with the intention of students making meaning through authentic inquiry.
