What we are looking for
In this leadership position you will have a deep commitment to providing quality Catholic education based on your faith, participate in the life of the parish, as well as have appropriate teaching experience, academic qualifications and leadership qualities.

The position of AP Mission acknowledges the important and distinctive place of religious education and faith development within Catholic schools.  The AP Mission focuses on providing leadership in religious education, including the religious life of the school and the teaching of Religion, according to Catholic Education policies and practices in the Diocese of Rockhampton.

This position will commence from 18 January 2021.

Key leadership qualities and capabilities
We are seeking to appoint a leader who
* is a practising Catholic with a sound understanding of, and commitment to Catholic education
* has experience of successful leadership in Catholic education
* can foster a culture of inspirational teaching and learning and lead the development and implementation of school improvement initiatives|
* has the interpersonal skills to build partnerships within the school and with the local community
* is willing to provide leadership in areas delegated by the Principal in the APRE/AP Mission duty statement, and
      - can lead in ways that are consistent with the message of Jesus and the Gospels
      - Catholic Church teachings, principles and values
      - Diocesan policies
      - The Catholic Education Diocese of Rockhampton Charter
      - Catholic Education Mission and Vision Statements, policies, practices and strategic directions.
