Each year Catholic Education in the Diocese of Rockhampton appoints a number of new teachers (both graduate and experienced) to primary schools and kindergartens in Central Queensland for the start of each school year.
We are currently seeking applications for full-time teaching positions for the 2019 school year. We invite applications from qualified educators who are committed to the ideals of Catholic schools and possess the following:
– Relevant tertiary qualifications/eligibility to graduate
– Appropriate qualities, knowledge and skills to provide a relevant and holistic education
– A desire to serve the community of Central Queensland

Catholic Education in the Diocese of Rockhampton’s Primary Graduate Teacher Scholarship Program offers an opportunity to secure an early offer of employment in schools identified as high priority within the Diocese of Rockhampton.
Scholarships of $2200 are available to high-achieving preservice teachers who demonstrate professional knowledge, professional practice and professional engagement, support Catholic ethos and mission and are eligible for employment as a teacher in the semester following graduation.
